Unlocking Awareness, Wellbeing & Change Through Meditation and Coaching

Kate Hughes of Kate Hughes Meditation

Who am I?

I’m Kate Hughes, founder of Kate Hughes Meditation. My journey into wellbeing began after a burnout in 2015, which marked the turning point in my life. Previously, I was a criminal defence lawyer, working in a high-pressure environment. But when stress took its toll, I knew I needed to change. I retrained as a meditation teacher and later qualified in breathwork, mindfulness, and transformational life coaching.

Now, I support individuals and organisations in creating change without compromising wellbeing. I offer corporate sessions and one-to-one coaching for those ready to rediscover calm, clarity, and resilience.

My approach is rooted in this belief:

“Awareness and mindset are everything. All the change we need comes from our own awareness & it is possible to shift perspective and mindset using the gentle yet powerful techniques that coaching offers.”

What I’m Offering (For Free!)

This October, I’m offering two people a free coaching package, which includes:

  • A 30-minute discovery call
  • A ‘Preparing for Coaching’ questionnaire
  • Three one-hour online coaching sessions
  • Email support and recommended resources between sessions
  • Final reflection and feedback

To qualify, all you need is curiosity about change and an open mind. You don’t need a specific problem to begin.

What to Expect

This is a gentle but profound process. Perhaps you carry a belief like “I’m not good enough.” Together, we’ll explore it, uncover where it began, and introduce new, empowering perspectives.

Coaching isn’t therapy, but it can be deeply therapeutic. By identifying repeated thought patterns and stories that no longer serve you, we begin to shift. The process can be intense, but it is always empowering.

Duration & Schedule

  • Sessions must start within four weeks of selection
  • Sessions can be spaced flexibly, but no more than a month apart

How to Apply

This opportunity is available throughout October 2025.

To apply, email editor@focusonuk.co.uk by Friday, 31st October 2025. Once confirmed, I’ll arrange the session details directly with you.

Eligibility

  • You must hold a Connect, Support, or Protect membership with an up-to-date Foyht Directory listing
  • If selected and you’re a Connect member, you’ll need to upgrade to Support or Protect before sessions begin
  • Only two spots are available, offered on a first-come, first-served basis

Celebrating the Journey

This October, I’m honoured to be in the spotlight. Through meditation, mindfulness, and transformational coaching, I help people reconnect with themselves, reduce burnout, and move forward with clarity and strength.
