It’s The Little Things
Gratitude is often spoken about in wellness articles. It’s a word that gets thrown around regularly.
But what does it actually mean?
Do we think about this when we get a job or when we have a baby?
All major moments require gratitude, but what if it was the small things we were constantly mindful of. When someone smiled and said hello. When we shared our smile and said good morning.
How can our gratitude create the butterfly effect around the world?
If we show gratitude and acknowledge gratitude then this could have an uplifting effect on the whole world. It doesn’t need to be massive gestures though. Showing gratitude for warm water in the shower. For the electricity in our fridge, for the love of a family member.
Write down all the little things that you are grateful for.
Discuss these with your friends or family and see how small your gratitude can go!
These are supposed to be the small things.
The things that other people might not notice. Is it when the coffee shop barista spells your name right?
