The Spotlight Is On…

*Drumroll, please!*

Kate Hughes of Kate Hughes Meditation

Who is Kate Hughes?

Kate began her career as a criminal defence lawyer. However, after experiencing stress burnout in 2015, she made a courageous decision to change direction, retraining as a meditation teacher and eventually leaving legal practice to launch her own business: Kate Hughes Meditation.

Since then, Kate has continued to expand her expertise. She is now qualified to teach breathwork, mindfulness, and is also a transformational life coach. Passionate about helping others create the life they want without reaching burnout, Kate offers corporate training and works 1:1 with individuals ready to embrace change.

She says:
"Awareness and mindset are everything. All the change we need comes from our own awareness, and it is possible to shift perspective and mindset using the gentle yet powerful techniques that coaching offers."

Offer Details:

This October, Kate is generously offering two free coaching packages, which includes:

  • A 30-minute discovery call
  • A 'Preparing for Coaching' questionnaire
  • Three one-hour online coaching sessions
  • Email support and suggested resources in between sessions
  • Final feedback and reflection

To qualify, all you need is a curiosity about change and an open mind. You don't need to come with a problem, just a willingness to explore what might be possible for you.

What to Expect:

This coaching package invites you to simply bring yourself to the space and see what unfolds. For instance, if you hold a deep-seated belief like "I'm not good enough", Kate will gently support you in exploring it, diving deeper, and encouraging new ways of thinking.

This is not therapy, but coaching can feel profoundly therapeutic when we lift the lid on old patterns and start freeing ourselves from what no longer serves us. The process can be intense, but truly life-changing.

Duration & Schedule:

  • Sessions must begin within 4 weeks of your successful application.
  • Your three one-hour sessions can be spaced to suit you, but must be no more than one month apart.

Additional Benefits:

  • This opportunity is available throughout October 2025.
  • To apply, simply email editor@focusonuk.co.uk by Friday, 31st October 2025, expressing your interest.
  • Once confirmed, Kate will arrange the session details directly with you.

Eligibility:

Applicants must hold a Connect, Support, or Protect membership and have an up-to-date listing in the Foyht Directory.

If you're a Connect member and selected, you'll need to upgrade to Support or Protect before your sessions begin.

Only two spots are available — offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't miss out!

This October, we celebrate the inspiring work of Kate Hughes.

With her unique journey from law to wellbeing, Kate empowers others to transform their lives through meditation, breathwork, and transformational coaching. Her approach blends mindset work with practical tools, all rooted in her belief that true change starts with self-awareness.

We're excited to follow the empowering journeys Kate helps others create.
