Breathwork & Blue Lotus Ceremony for International Women's Day
A new women's wellness retreat combining breathwork, ritual, and nervous system regulation is coming to Falmouth, Cornwall this March.
Maria of Egypt, founder of VYV House of Life, will lead an immersive retreat at St Michael's Resort in Falmouth, timed to coincide with International Women's Day. The retreat combines breathwork, a Blue Lotus tea ceremony (an ancient Egyptian plant medicine for spiritual awakening and personal transformation) and reflective practices designed to help women reconnect, reset, and restore balance.
"The retreat is an invitation to step into your own sovereignty," says Maria. "By supporting the body and clearing emotional patterns, participants can reconnect with their inner intelligence and rediscover clarity, resilience, and self-leadership."
Past participant Natalya Toporova said: "I truly loved working with Maria. From the moment she brought her ceremony, her calming tea, and her beautiful energy, I felt completely at ease. Her breathwork guided me into a peaceful, grounded state of mind and created a deeply meaningful experience."
The retreat builds on Maria's growing wellbeing work at VYV House of Life, with her main clinic in Truro, Cornwall, and a second location in Miami, Florida, giving people from around the world access to her unique approach to wellness.
A trained clinical pharmacist prescriber, Maria of Egypt founded VYV House of Life -a wellbeing concept inspired by the ancient Egyptian "House of Life," centres of knowledge and healing that once combined medicine, spirituality, and philosophy. Through VYV, she revives this model for a modern audience, blending clinical insight with breathwork, ritual, and nervous system regulation in a format that resonates with today's biohacking and integrative wellness culture.
