At the end of the day all strangers I met 2 hours ago were no longer strangers to me anymore, they become my new “big cold family” with the biggest and hottest hearts I ever saw in my life! I was hooked!

Once the cold part was done, we all gathered together and had a picnic with hot tea and coffee, homemade healthy snacks, immunity booster shots and lots of smiles and giggles. I cannot describe the feeling so I will let the following pictures do the job. I don’t think that someone can fake happiness if they are not bursting with joy, health, vitality and positivity from inside out! Do You?

So, my challenge is over, because it has become a habit! I would strongly recommend you look out for your local swimming groups and try it at least once in your life, it is worth it. How could it not be when you have been washed clean by the cold water, both mentally and physically?!

We are always searching for inspiration, gurus, mentors far over from home, but we never realise that people just like them live in our town, city or village.

“Get high on your own supply” it costs you nothing but I’m warning you, it is very addictive!

About the Author: Inga Jungaitiene

I am a Yoga teacher, Holistic and Sound therapist, and a newly qualified Forest Therapist guide. I live in Northern Ireland and in the past ten years I have worked with people of all ages and abilities to improve health, wellbeing, peace of mind and relaxation in order to bring some positive changes to their lives. As a Holistic practitioner I believe that the purpose of any holistic treatment (massage, sound therapy, forest therapy or yoga) is to create balance and harmony in order to prevent illness or disease in the whole person, mind, body and soul both on a physical and emotional level. I love my mindful walks in the morning, I am in love with the MOON and I meditate by creating yoga inspired Mala beads. My favourite quote: Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit! I have singed up to do a Cold Water Challenge in March to fundraise for Cancer research UK.
